M&P 15-22 Reaper Zombie (http://www.budsgunshop.com/catalog/product_info.php/cPath/36_763_1046/products_id/411551805/Rifles/Smith+%26+Wesson+Rifles/M%26P15-22+Rifles/SWL+M%26P1522+811033+REAPER+ZOMBIE+22LR+16+COMPB+2 5)

This is just retarded. Everybody knows that .22lr isn't going to kill a zombie.

I disagree. Not ideal maybe, but fast, accurate, and quiet. A .22lr to the eyeball could be effective. Don't be so quick to count it out...

Or in reality it's just funny, like the LCP zombie edition... cause a pocket .380 is what you really want...

Either way I'm kidding...

Zombies require head shots, .22 is fine.

.22lr is the perfect zombie cartridge

I'm a zombie, and I've been shot with a .22 It didn't work.

Either way I'm kidding...As was I. I actually started the thread because I think the color scheme is HIDEOUS . . . and then I threw in the gratuitous pot-stirring about .22lr effectiveness vis-a-vis zombies cuz I know some of you have actually thought about it! :cough tilefish wahoo cough:

well in fairness to them, it is the ultimate shtf senario. it's said all the time, be ready for zombies and you're ready for anything...

Zombie comes in my house, I'll take that punk intruder down. Will do the same with your run-of-the-mill BG. Like this:

I like it. It'll keep some kid out there somewhere interested in shooting. I've been thinking about using that zombie green in a digi-camo-zombie pattern on my 22 ar upper's Magpul furniture myself. 22's are fun, I'm all for making them look different.

I'd be more worried about kids thinking it's a toy...

This ^^^ Remember when we were talking Saturday night about the Zombie themed guns getting out of hand LOL. I love my 15-22, but I think I'll keep it tacticool black. :D

That's why we store them properly and involve our kids. Then they know what's what. Not worried about it at my house. ;)

Zombie this...zombie that...I'm so sick of zombie anything. The mere word ranks right up there with reality shows, dancing shows, talent shows, and crap like the Kardashians. If I ever have to call on the demon side of my skinny bad self to inflict
whoop-ass on somebody, all I have to do is think about my disgust with any of those and the transformation begins.
The LCP zombie version sightings always remind me of the exact spot in my shed where lies my 9lb sledge hammer.

FINE nothin...
PERFECT!!!
MY Zombie gun is a calico M-100 with 2 spare mags.
Only brain points count and a 22 will penetrate a human skull at 50-60 yards.

Zombies come in hoardes and I can carry a heckuva lot more .22 than .223.

The .380 would be fine as long as it has the appropriate zombie killing bayonet attached. ;)

Suppressed .22 is pretty much perfect for close-up zombie work.... Especially those slow rambling ones.

Cheap, quiet, and easy to carry 10,000 around with you ;-)

The better version of this is:

"The hardest part of the zombie apocalypse will be my d**k as I'm pulling the trigger."

Not always, and I'm quite thankful lol! Long story, but I've got the scar to prove it. So when the zombies come, I'll be ok with a 22 but ill keep shooting because out of ten or 20 a few should.
