I looked at it and though the same thing. I'm pretty sure they're just for looks/storage.

The clear "magazine" that attaches to the top is just to store extra ammo. The regular 10/22 magazines insert 5-6 inches forward of the butt pad.

Oh so it does serve a purpose. Good info, thanks.

I was at Bass Pro today and they had Archangel kits for IIRC $129.

Really kind of a cool little set up especially if you like the bull pup guns.

$240 is not a bad price.

If only it could be bottom ejecting like the real thing... it's a horrible combination to like bullpups and be a lefty.

Great. Just great. I just bought my first 10/22 and figured out just how I want it. Now I need a 2nd.

I wonder how bad it makes the trigger feel?

Aw man that one is hideous! It looks like the answer to "What would a bullpup glock rifle look like?"

    :)

It's all in the eye of the beerholder, or something like that...

The thing I like about it is that it is engineered to work and is quality. It is not engineered to copy something else.

If you want to see "hideous" just go back to the top of this page, where you will find a copy of the most unpleasant looking firearm design of this century!! Glock not withstanding....

But it's a 22, it's ok to copy. My CMMG upper'd ar is most certainly engineered to be a copy of something. ;)

Better go ahead and send me the AR copy, it might change my mind. I'll let you know what I think after a couple thousand rounds.....

My son and I put a box or two through it on the weekends. You'll run a couple thousand through it in a hurry.
