Freakin' awesome! Well, another excuse to buy another Ruger.
Wonder what they will be building and I hope the close the place in the north east....
Union gun none union guns, what ones will be better and have more of a following.
Where the heck is Mayodan? Who cares!! Yay!!!!
Hahaha I thoug the same thing....I've lived here my whole life and have never heard of it. I looked it up on Google maps and it seems to be a TINY town north of Gboro near the VA line
I wonder why they chose there? Its in the middle of no where, and trust me, I grew up in the middle of no where.
Upon further review, who cares, there're coming to NC
Remington HQ is right there too (Madison). I wonder....
Awesome. I may have to buy a 10-22 and outfit it with a bunch of evil black plastic cosmetic bits.
I wonder when they are going to start hiring.
it's gonna be within 3-4 miles of Remington's Headquarters at the intersection of Hwy 220 and NC135. 11 miles from Eden. They're leasing an old Unifi plant.
if Freedom Group is going to do a deal with Ruger too. Not sure how I feel about that one.
Located in Rockingham County and my hat is off to those who worked diligently to bring this together for NC!
Great job..............great job. Now let's focus our efforts on luring more of them to our region. They deserve a more favorable business environment than is being created for them now.
Agreed.............glad to know they're coming here!
I think this is going to open the door for NC. Other makers are going see companies move out of the north and ask themselves "why are we here"
Once they move and get up and running I'll hopefully find an excuse to buy another Ruger.
Anyone have any experience with the Mini 30?
Mayodan is about 10 Miles West of Rockingham Community college. I know Mayodan as the home of Wall lumber. A good place to stop in at if you are looking for some interesting exotics. Ruger coming to NC. That is good news.
Wow I am now a Ruger fanboy

I'm so anxious to see that happen as soon as possible. Empty buildings and unemployed citizens can many times be traced to elected officials who take many things for granted before realizing: What happened???
