Now that is freakin cool.
Bring that back for me please
I like that too! Wonder what the $$ will be?
Most are repops, is this something that remington is going to turn out?
That is freaking awesome. That would have been a serious contender for the greenbacks I just spent on a series 70 repro. Every time I buy something, someone churns out something freaking awesome in the same price range. You're welcome guys, you're welcome.
I'll be happy with just the case and swag. It'll look cool with a Colt in there, too.
If you look down at the bottom it says "commemorating ww...."
I'm assuming the 100th anniversary of the start of WWI since it started in 1914.
This one is a joint venture between Remington and Trunbull to create a historically accurate WW1 vintage 1911 like the one they produced for the war.
Made by Trunbull for Remington. Will ship as a total kit as seen in photo. MSRP is $2,660 for the Trunbull gun and accessories and case as shown. Only 1k kits will be made and sold in 2014.
Last real UMC made for the war was serial number 21,676. New guns will start at 21,677 and on.
That would look nice along with my 1919 Remington UMC 1911.
