I have been to quite a few wallyworlds from Charlotte to Monroe to Rock Hill and have been striking out left and right. Places like Academy, Nichols and a few LGS' have some .22, but no CCI anywhere!
Even online a lot of places are back-ordered... We are going to Concord tomorrow and hopefully I will be able to find some at either Bass Pro or the local wallyworld. At this point I plan on buying whatever I can find.

    Trouble finding .22 ammo?

Bulk box 22 is scarce down this way. Remington 225 boxes are turning up at wally wurld, its lousy ammo though.
Do not trust atoms, they make up everything.

Gander Mtn in Morrisville had bulk of all of the major brands. Prices are Gander, but they have plenty.

folks, you need to buy bulk, in bulk.

When Dunns has their 5250rd cases on sale for $169, y'all need to BUY... its not like it'd ever go bad! :-)

No one ever complained about having too much cheap .22 in stock...

for those in triangle area, I saw cases of .22 at Sovereign Gun last week....

Kevin, I've been having a hard time finding it locally too. Recently one of the guys in the sporting goods in the Waynesville Walmart clued me in that they get their ammo shipment on Sunday mornings. After he told me that I went before church time that Sunday and got two win 555 boxes and a 250 bulk box of 40 s&w. When I went it wasn't in the cases yet. I just told them what I wanted and they got it from cardboard boxes behind the counter. No guarantee they will have it, but at least you get to pick from what they have. They also have some federal .223 hundred round packs that are a steal too when they have them. I picked up a few boxes of it too.

Yes thanks- I wasn't very clear on that post :-)

I believe the .22 I saw at sovereign was in the same price range though, but it wasn't a case of federal bulk, it was lead projectiles....blazer maybe?

Get mine from my local gun store. They always have it in stock, and at decent prices. Blazer bulk is $20.

    Nope, not even close. :-)

In fact, now that Ive got a .22 suppressor that enjoys a slightly different brand of ammo (CCI SV and CCI Quiet), Ive begun bulk buying CCI ammo as well...

Its the only way to ensure you'll have what you want, when you want it, for the price you want to pay.

Its exactly the reason I reload all my centerfire calibers- to control my supply chain... who needs gun control if you cant find ammo!!!

    That's why they have plenty

I ended up going to Bass Pro and found some, the pickin's were slim but I managed to get about 1,700 rounds. They had no CCI other than green tag, that stuff is a little pricey though...
