I am considering setting up at the next Dixie Gun and Knife Show in Charlotte. I've visited the website many times over the past few weeks and tried to reserve a table. Each time I try, it says that limited space is available and to call their phone number. I've called at least a dozen times and left at least three messages over the past few weeks. I can't get anyone to answer or to return my phone call. Does anyone know the folks that put on this show? Any additional contact information for them? Thanks!

    Hi Curt,

That's the number that I have tried calling many different times. It rings a few times and then goes to an answering machine. I've left a few messages but haven't heard anything back from them. Is there an alternate phone number?

Used to be able to do it here. I always noticed until it got about 1 1/2 months out, they didn't answer much.

There is the show at the old coliseum on Independence the week before. Will be at the GRNC table Sat. If you cannot find the number just repost and will chase one down for you.

I think that is what she does when they are booked.

I have kind of lost track of what show is where and when...but I know if you don't book Charlotte a good ways out from show date, you can forget it. Used to be able to call that week but now it's a couple of months...or was.

That's the way it is now. They gotta have room for the magic crystals & reusable heating pads & the like.

I think that is a C&E show right? From what I have read in general, the Dixie shows are usually larger and superior. Is that really the case or is C&E just as good?

I usually don't even waste my time with a C&E show....

Funny thing is most of the vendors at C&E are also at Dixie and vice-versa.....there's no explanation for it....

I used to go to all the C&E shows, but in my opinion they went down hill and I have not been to one in several years. I do go to the Dixie Shows at the Metrolina Fairgrounds.

Will be helping at the GRNC booth. Stop by and say howdy, pick up literature, and/or sign up. Tall skinny guy with a Para cap and the goofy look.

Dixie Show at Metrolina Fairgrounds is good. Some people like the shows, some do not. My son and I like to go to this one every time it comes. Lots to look at and touch. But, I do see more and more jewerly, air scents and junk like that showing up. Show is the 19th & 20th. Went to one C&E, that was enough...

Greenville SC also has a big show on the 19th & 20th.

I meet a friend from Kernersville at the Dixie show.
We meet on Sundays at 10, walk and talk, check out things and have a good time.
Go eat and have a beer and maybe go back to the show.

Last time I went to the CE show was over 4 years ago.
