Now this would make nice trade material for a Marlin lever gun.

    Mak90's are excellent AKs.
Ditch that thumb hole stock (You may have to swap a few things for 922r, I am not sure)

arguably one of the best ak's ever made, that are no longer available and never be will be again. I have owned aresnals, maks, and wasrs, and a random m70 just to mix things up. the m70 and the mak have been my favorite hands down.

Yup. Just get a wasr to chop.
    Leave this one alone.

I hear a Marlin calling your name.

Yeah, I wouldn't dick with it much. Partly because it's a headache when other quality rifles exist and need no such work, but also because MAK's can bring some money once in awhile.

AK's suck at being quiet anyway.

Oh, and the C7.r has been kicking ass for two years now. Time for a new profile pic :D

Ak's suck at being quite, and from everything I have read suppressors don't live well on the end of short barrel 7.62x39 rifles.
Leave it be and enjoy it for what it is.

Could be as early as a 89 import if ,,if it has a 5 digit SN it's a late 89, early 90.

The new C7's are more fun... all about the flappy paddles! But as far as the C7.r goes, the factory teams are fairly dominant in IMSA, and the factory team performance at Le Mans is always good, even if Ford shafted everyone this year.

The #4 team actually just won the Weathertech championship a few minutes ago.

If you want it to look like an ak...then expect to pay between 150 and 200 for authentic chinese wood. Even going with a US made version will cost about the same.

Then the real decision is whether to refang it to hold a cleaning rod and/or a bayonet since yours appears to have the lugs ground off.

If that one has never left its box...my advice would be to leave it as is...however if you want an ak to shoot you could trade that one and get some cash/ammo/mags etc thrown in pretty easily.

Not illegal if you 922 but then you have to remove the legendary trigger to get the right number of parts

If you wanna sbr then get one of the pistol aks....they are made in europe then imported as a pistol so Century doesnt tinker with them at all.
