I wouldn't chance it with that much money,, unless it's a dealer that you can check out.

In my limited experience if the State is listed twice it is a scam. They are looking only to ship it.

    Let's see...

It's listed on Arms list at $800...using the SAME photo from a Gunbroker ad, which had a starting bid of $1,499.

And the Gunbroker ad has a LOT more details on the item, shipping, etc. Not to mention is a registered seller with an A+ rating, 3869 feedback points, and a 98% positive feedback.

Things that make you say "Hmmmm...."

Spidey sense says don't do it.

In my view, legitimate and credible sellers include a lot more detail. Not only that, but there are a lot of sellers on these sites that are actually in the gun business, which means they have verifiable business web sites, addresses, and phone numbers.

New World Ordnance (the Gunbroker vendor), for example, is located in Houston, TX, which is verifiable by a web search. The unregistered Armslist guy using the same photo as the New World Ordnance posting says he's from Ohio.

I sent the seller several messages saying I was from Ohio and traveled the state extensive and would meet to pick it up and wanted to go through an FFL. He stated he would only ship as he was homebound and couldn't meet ftf.

Thanks for looking out guys. After a few emails I told him I was reporting his ad as a scam and that stopped communication. Like the old saying if it's too good to be true...

If you click on the link now, ARMSLIST says it's been determined to be a SCAM.

I don't understand why people are always asking if something is an Armslist scam.

Armslist was designed for local face to face transactions. Unless you are searching through verifiable dealer ads and they are willing to ship, why even look in other state's ads?
