    In before those who pie hole that Mr. Good Samaritan shouldn't have helped because/he ain't a cop/just call 911/just be a good witness/can't take law into own hands/respect rules of engagement/everyone has rights/cop didn't ask for help/untrained intrusion/could've shot bystanders/ decides to chime in.

    Ashamed to say, not sure if I would of done the same thing. In todays world I could see charges against the guy who protected the LEO. Thats how Fkd up things are now.

    Yes, things are royally screwed up, absolutely agree on that. However, the world isn't going to be a better place if I let a criminal kill a LEO just because I don't want the inconvenience of having my actions legally examined.
