Most of you know that CSC is a Corporate Benefactor of GRNC.
Because of this GRNC will offer reduced membership rates to CSC members.
    1 year $20
    3 year $55
    5 year $80
    LIFE $250
    Benefactor $525
Since this not normal pricing it cannot be done on the web site.
This price is good for new members and for membership renewals.
If you are interested, PM me for details.
Best way to contact me is via email: GRNC@nc.rr.com

Yes, we will have someone at the Raleigh show. The same membership prices are offered at the gun shows. This is special event pricing that I can offer throug the forum in the event you can't make a gun show.

Dangit. I just renewed thru the GRNC website for $75/3 years. Wish I'd seen this thread first.

I am a police chief in WNC, and have been campaigning to make stolen gun records public. A few years ago, along with a couple of congressmen and a senator, I was trying to get legislation introduced. I recommend that FFL holders have access to guns that have been entered stolen in the NCIC data base. I suggested they get a yes or no only when checking used guns. If they get a "hit" they would contact local law enforcement. I found that the NRA was against the introduction of any new laws pertaining to guns. I now understand why, other legislators would attach their agenda to it.
Recently Florida has made their stolen gun data base available on the internet. It's a very simple and easy process to run a serial number. Would Grassroots be in favor of this?

I think it's a great idea, BoltUpright! If there's any way we can help deter crooks from stealing guns, I say we do it.

Life keeps me quite busy and I don't get on any of the forums much anymore. I think this is a great idea. Run it as an extended backgroud check and the Dems would jump onboard.
This is something that would have to be done on the Federal level. We just don;t have the resources to reach out of the state.
