If you can't afford a quality mount, don't even bother. Quality accessories will never be cheap.

I have a MI 30MM mount that I love, but I dont think they make em for PAPs.

I think the rule is "don't buy cheap and expect quality, but be ready to accept mediocrity."

The problem isn't the cheap mounts quality....it's built like a tank.... it would be that the PAP side rail mount is so high it puts even the lowest mount optic way too high for proper cheek weld.

I have a friend with a TIG we may have to fab up a proper mount

If Mikhail wanted you to mount an optic, the State would have issued you one. Now shoot it with iron sights like it was intended.

Slobodan Milosevic says optics kill Muslims better. That why the butt pad cushioned the rocket recoil on the PAP

After putting a PRO on the SGL21, I can't say much. Pretty nice. I have one that is irons-only, but I enjoy the dot. I kind of had the purist mentality in the beginning, but there is no reason AK accessories can't evolve just like the M4.

Ikarus, checkout the RS+dot combos at Primary Arms.

I've concluded that the Zhukov stock is for me. Does the longer MOE handguard work on the Yugos?

I don't think so, and you would have to cut off the lower HG retainer anyways.

Once you Zhukov there ain't no going back without some effort.
