I hate these bleeping threads, but I have a few hours to kill in a hotel room, and could use some inspiration. We're going to play what gun(s) should I buy...

Here's the starting point. I have handguns to fill most needs. Would love a Les Baer Stinger or a few other things someday that cost a fortune, but today is not that day. I might have a little gun budget in the next week or two after selling a few household items.

I have most of the basic long guns roles filled. Couple ARs, one carbine, one 18" DMR. CZ 452 and 512 for 22's. Ruger Gunsite 308. CZ 527 carbine in 7.62x39, and I just picked up a Henry 44Mag because I have a lever gun fetish. And why save money and retire some day when I can buy 44 mags instead?

So here are my options as I see them now.

More levers! 357 carbine or rifle? 30-30 even though I don't deer hunt? Shouldn't everybody have a 30-30? But maybe I should deer hunt! 22 lever gun for that 16 round capacity? I might be able to swing a couple new lever guns. Just maybe.

Hoard another AR? Maybe CMMG Mutant in 7.62 commie to go with my CZ? But I might not have the budget to scope it well. Don't think I'll have the $$ for an AR10. Especially with an optic. That is out of range this time.

357 Revolver? And 357 lever gun? Plus a cool cowboy hat?

Put a scope on my CZ 452? Upgrade scope from Redfield on my 527? Upgrade scope on my DMR? It carries a 1-6 HD2 Razor now. Do I put higher magnification on it? Although I am only shooting at 100' range now.

Solve my first world problem for me! I need someone to show me the path!

A .45 Colt lever gun or even a .38/357 lever gun. Once you get this lever gun, you'll have the perfect excuse to get a Colt Single Action to go with said lever gun.

Gee, you wouldn't happen to know of any for sale would you? I once tried trading for one, but was rebuked. :(

This right here - every Gvn Nvt needs a 357 wheel gun.

Yeah, but I heard Marlins were worthless now that they are Remlins. It has even sullied the old ones.

Agreed. But without being overly morbid, I am likely to acquire a few nice older S&W's very cheap or free at some point.

You mean you don't believe the internet? Those old Marlins that have dropped hundreds of deer are no longer any good. You should just dump then on poor unsuspecting fools.

I like a lever gun and a revolver in the same round. One type of ammo, 2 guns.... Another cool thing.....while a magnum revolver can be a handful, they're kittens in a rifle.
    A scoped cz452.......lots of fun.

There i voted , now give me a sticker.

You could start getting into suppressors. I have a Ruger American in 300BLK, 16" threaded barrel. Would be a fair replacement for your CZ carbine but in a caliber that could be compatible with your ARs. You really don't want a commie caliber anyway, right? ;)

Come on over! We can hit the 75 FOOT range after the neighbors go to work. You DO have 75' dope for a 50, right?? LOL

We'll have plenty of company after the first shot or two, tho...PD is three blocks away...

I really like that gun. Plus I can buy cheap range ammo and good ammo for SD or hunting. But a suppressor set up is a good plan. Unless they get removed from NFA later and become easier to get. More prevalent could mean lower prices later.

30-30 with light cowboy loads is fun as hell.
