Ours runs great. I can not say for others. As long as it starts clean and a normal cleaning program.

Mags are the reliability issue not the gun.

I have 2 and any time I have a failure its with an aftermarket hicap mag.

Luckily they're cheap enough to toss and replace.

I am anxiously awaiting the 9mm version for 2 reasons.

.45 is expensive especially in something as fun as this.

And second. Nobody makes this mag for .45 yet (hint hint John. Corner the market on this item. Free idea. Just want a mag as a finders fee) but they do make it for 9mm.

How much would one of those mags weigh fully loaded with 45?

I've had one for a couple of years. No issues until I went with one of the cheap korean hi-cap mags. I don't use them anymore and have had no issues even when the thing is dirty. Fun to shoot and accurate and always a head turner at the range.

Those are the ones I've had problems with.

One of mine has around 2000 rounds through it over the last couple of years and I've never cleaned it. On purpose. Was curious how well it would hold up. I've added frog lube on occasion but that's it.

Only problems I've had are with a couple of those mags. The feed lips aren't the best. Some I reshaped with a knife and they worked fine. Others I threw away.

So what is it about the korean mags that suck? Weak materials?

No they're tough. It's the forming of the feed lips and the tolerances aren't quite right.

I'm kinda looking for one. I like that it takes G21 mags.

Kriss posted today that the 9mm versions were shipping to dealers today. Wonder if all will be listed right at MSRP.

I would be interested if it was made in 10mm. Other than economics, 10mm is way better suited to carbine use than 45ACP or 9mm IMO.

Also, wasn't one of the big tenants of the design a funky recoil reduction mechanism? Sounds tailor made for 10mm but they don't go there. SMH o_O

I've shot @Chdamn Kriss and its the smoothest shooting little rifle I've ever shot. Shot it side by side with a UMP and the Kriss was 1000 times better.

I will certainly be ordering one once the price seems normal. I remember seeing the mpx at 16-1900 when they first came out. Now they are $1200.

I have a kriss and love it, but I always chose my mp5sd over it.

That may change with this new 9mm.

Nice! As much as I'd love to SBR it, I'm really looking for a carbine. I want it to carry in the Jeep while I'm at my cabin. TRcubed can tell you, I'm out in the boonies!, and I like to have a little something with me. I'm looking for that little extra umpf that I'd get with the longer barrel. I usually carry a G41 with optics and can get about the same muzzle velocity as the SBR with it. I love these guns!
