M1903 Marine sniper clone..

    Finished this one (except for the front sling swivel) a week or so ago....built it for CMP Vintage Sniper matches. I started breaking the barrel in using Criterion`s recommended procedure and the group size @100yds is about 1" with my loads. It started out about 7", LOL. I`m 140rds into it and still working at it.....
    I had a local gunsmith D&T for the scope blocks, I did the rest (reparkerizing, stock fitting, chambering, receiver squaring, etc).

    Springfield M1903 receiver, 944,000 sn range
    Criterion barrel
    CMP C-stock
    USGI parts
    Leatherwood Hilux 8x Marine Sniper repro scope(I have an original JW Fecker inbound)
    Steve Earle scope mounting blocks

    Oh man thats an awesome rifle you have there!! I love old service weapons, have a certain quality and beauty to them.
