I can disagree with A LOT from talk show hosts and still listen to them, but when I was listening to Levin and he said to count him in with the NeverTrump'ers, I shut him off for the rest of my life. I don't care how intelligent or good your analysis/commentary is; if you effectively hand your vote to HRC, I will not support you. - He switched back because he lost a huge portion of his audience; I can only imagine his ratings have gone into the tank.
Michael Savage and Alex Jones are the only two I listen to anymore, and it's mostly for entertainment purposes (while cooking, eating, cleaning, working out). AJ specifically has some great guests, people who if you simply believed what the media said about him, wouldn't ever think would be on his show. - Savage is just straight up hilarious, I disagree with him on a fair bit, but he cracks me up. The Bronx Jew thing just adds a funny element.
I'm sure there are some other great talkers out there, but I don't have enough time to find them. I liked Neal Boortz when he was on.
You can catch most of these guys on rewind on YT channels commercial free a few hours after the show ends.
To think people listen to talk radio simply because they can't form their own opinions is absurd. Some will, yes, but for some of us, it's just entertainment, and can help you see some sides of things you may not have thought of. No different than a discussion on this forum.
