Any other 45/70 lovers out there?
    This is a 2001 1895CB

I call these pictures dead man's hand

    45/70 is definitely a man's round.

My all time favorite. First center rifle I bought when I turned 18 was an 1895GS. I was spoiled from the get go. Just love those big torpedoes

Ha! Yea, I have a few! Love the Marlin's in that caliber! That is a great looking rifle, I haven't had mine out of the safe in a while! Makes me think it's time to get it out and put a few rounds down range!

I love mine as well. My Marlin guide gun with a scope mounted has been my preferred deer slayer of choice the past 15+years. it's quite a tack driver at 100 yards
Then picked up an 1895CB from my old man a few years ago when he started asking me what he could get for it. I was quick to say "I'll be buying that please!"

By the way, nice photos Brentona. Rifle looks great and I love the handle on that pig sticker
