mea culpa. I do the same thing when I post, not always copying who I'm answering.
That said, Jason makes them for polymer pistols also.
I have the same S&A magwell/housing (blued) on my Range Officer that is 2 years old. The Range Officer came with that stupid safety (ILS) mainspring, but it's easily replaced by any good old G.I. spec housings. I did learn that the ILS housing from Springer has a shorter mainspring than G.I. so I just replaced the spring and spring plunger along with the S&A mag well/housing. I've discarded the ILS safety mainspring housing on other Springfield 1911s I've owned.
...also I just remembered that the Springer ILS mainspring housing didn't have the small pin that holds the spring and plunger into the housing so I needed to add that, too.
