I'm looking at a savage axis in 223. Is there any aftermarket support for it? Stocks, triggers , barrels? Thanks

I'm fairly certain boyds makes a stock for it. Don't they have the accutrigger? So I'm not sure you'd need to replace it unless you just don't like it!

Easy to swap barrels... quite a few stock options but not as many as you'd have for a Savage 10/11/12/etc. Same with triggers. If you are looking to build, get one of the numbered models instead of the Axis. Or find yourself a Stevens 200 if you can.

Thanks. Too late tho. Lol I just found out that my parents bought me one for Xmas.

Looks like it will get a Timmy trigger, a Boyd's tactical stock, and after a while a new barrel.

    Thanks guys!!!

The stock trigger can be worked into a rather nice pull. I got an axis from a friend for 50 bucks that I'm going to do a budget build for my wife to play around with to see if she likes long range comps. Putting a 6.5 creedmoor barrel on it and a mtd lss chassis with a vortex pst ffp going on top that I have laying around
