I once bought two cases of beer, a video game, a hat, and 5 or 6 boxes of 9mm at once.

I hate Walmart, and have since quit shopping there at all costs, but I love what being able to buy all those at once represents.

Interesting story, though... the Walmart not far from here always said that selling AR15's was against some local code or whatever. They always had Mini 14's, though. I always got a kick out of that. Went in two days ago with a friend, just to walk around and kill time... they had a few AR's. Me thinks someone there is full of shit.

You can buy AR's at the Wally on North Main in High Point but better not need ammo!

Some Wal-Marts have taken to not displaying their firearms in the cabinets. The Asheboro Wal-Mart had a sign that says to ask. They either keep them locked up now or have gone to special order only.

1. Nothing wrong with WMT. Wish they had a full sporting goods section closer to me than Dunn or Clayton.

2. Quick-Clot and the like are not some magical panacea. They even admit in their own material: http://www.practicaltrauma.com/quikclot_training.pdf Just be careful with that stuff, folks. This is one (more) place where a weekend in a first aid class is probably MUCH better use of your time and money than magic powders... YES they have their place, but no they don't replace first aid and if used wrong they can be dangerous...

quick, someone email that to the Moms Demand Action, lol
Definitely do not do that. That will just fire them up to go after Walmarts that sell them anywhere near population centers. I'd bet complaints from libs is why Walmart, which has a FFL obviously, doesn't sell guns in Raleigh or Orange County, even though they could be making money from guns in those locations.

Reminds me of the drive thru liquor stores in Arizona:

"I'll take a snickers bar, two boxes of 30-06, and a gallon of Jack please. Yeah, stick it in the same bag".

the Locust, Albemarle, and Kannapolis Walmarts have a full array of AR type rifles along with plenty of others. Guess you have to get away from the Containment areas of Wake and Mecklenburg counties to obtain an arsenal of freedom while obtaining said groceries and other chinese sourced provisions.

We have sporticals to Colts in the local one. The Windhams are very popular, and I would be tempted once they start to carry the SRC carbon fiber ones for around $600.

Also Academy Sports are selling the DPMS Oracle for $599, the Bushmaster with Red Dot for $659, the WW Carbon Fiber SRC for $659, and the Bushy ORC for $799 so maybe Walmart isn't the best local deal around....

Not sure what you're talking about. I was feeling a bit under the weather. Added some celox granules to my chicken soup and now I feel great! ;)

I happily trade all those ARs in the cases for some bulk 22 packs. Last time I bought a gun at Walmart was 1998, and that was the last time I was 'perp-walked' out with a gun purchase.
It was a Mossberg 500 persuader 8-shot with a full stock, and it was the only place I could find it for less than $200.....In fact I think it was the same exact price as the stainless 10/22 carbine. $188 + tax. I think bulk pack federal 550 ct 22lr was around $9. Man, I need a time machine!

Dude you paid too much. SKS's were $75 at Roses back in the day :D

There was a Roses in Albemarle that must have sold 100s of those in the pre-Clinton era. I even found one store in N. Myrtle Beach that still had them in stock in 1996!
Hindsight is a real PITA :D
