I'm the newest newbie here. I shot my first IDPA shoot last night and obviously had a blast. Someone told me about this forum and it sounded right up my alley.

I live in Matthews with my wife, 4 month old daughter and a tiny dog. I started shooting a few years ago and got bit by the bug pretty bad. I am a reloader and am going to start going to IDPA style shoots to improve my skills and concealed carry abilities.

Anyway, I hope I can use this forum as an outlet to save my wife from hearing all of the gun geek topics I seem to constantly want to talk about.

Was that Point Blank? I was there and it was crowded but still fun. Hope to see you at Mecklenburg IDPA or a USPSA match.
