Can we sticky one?

I know there's a national list, but it seems the different examiners have varying times.... I think it might be more useful for us to track our own NC/SC timelines?

Here's one to start:

Form: Form 4:
Device: Spectre II
Type: trust
Mailed date: 4/21
Check cashed: 5/17
Pending: 6/11
Approved:
Stamp received:
Examiner:

@TARHEELSTATE Hey Scott when were they approved. I got a bunch that were approved mid March that have not arrived. Getting ready to request copies from ATF.
I had a stack come in with forms approved 32 days ago and forms approved 4 days ago.

Form 4 Trust

Silencerco Octane 45K

Submitted - 12/15/15
Pending - 12/21/15
Approved - 4/23/16

Thanks to Scott at Tarheel State Firearms for another extremely smooth transaction!!

On a side note. It makes me wonder if I really will have long wait for next one. (Obsidian 45) the day after 41P announcement. (1/4/16). It was only a couple weeks after this one that was just approved. Maybe I got in before the rush. I'll be calling the ATF in a couple weeks checking on that one :)

Form: 1
Device: SBR
Type: Trust
Submitted Electronically: 01/29/15
Paid Online: 1/29/15
Approved via email: 05/12/16
Stamp received:
Authorized ATF Official: Heather Thompson

A total of 104 days (or almost 3.47 months) from electronic submission to electronic approval.

This is my FIRST stamp. What happens now? Will I receive the actual tax stamp or is the PDF email printed out enough? Do I have to get the SBR engraved with the trust name or other information?

Unfortunately, you still won't have a "real" stamp, since the PDF you got is all you'll get. You'll have to paper file a form to get an actual stamp.

You have to engrave the trust name, the city & state where you actually make the firearm, and the caliber if the firearm isn't already marked. The authorized locations for those markings are the frame, receiver, barrel or pistol slide (if applicable). They must be engraved to a minimum depth of .003" and conspicuously placed.
Thank you BigWaylon. I may PM you in the near future for more info.

My upper (barrel) shows the caliber. The lower is Multi (I think).

So, my understanding is (assuming what I wrote above), the lower needs to be engraved where it can be seen to reflect the name of the trust, the city and the state.

If I want an actual stamp, I have to file for the stamp? Can you tell me how to do that?

Thanks!

Ask away...either start a new thread with questions or send me a PM.

Multi on the lower won't matter if the barrel has the caliber (and most do).

As I mentioned, frame/receiver/barrel/pistol slide (if applicable. Most people engrave the lower, but you could engrave the barrel. Trust name, plus the city & state of where it's physically made into an SBR (doesn't have to match the F1, your DL, etc...although it usually does).

You're done with this form...no real stamp. I was meaning you'd need to file for a new firearm. Better yet, buy a suppressor for it and get a real stamp. ;)
Suppressor on the way.....yay!

I'm just over a month in on a Rev 45 from JK. Have two E-Form 1's in for about a week. Both AR SBR's.
Ordered another host gun and will Efile as soon as its delivered. Maybe everything will be done by labor day. :)

Next on the list is an M4SD from @jkupp2000 when he gets some stock.
