It's a shame Sen. Tulsi Gabbord (hawaii) is a Democrat. She's served in the military, and doesn't present herself as an idiot when she speaks on TV.

Well, if she is a member of the Democrat Party she has already demonstrated her idiocy or ignorance. Doesn't really matter what she 'appears' like on TV. And while Trump could use someone with some military or defense bonafides, she is way too inexperienced to be any value to him. He'll likely go old political guy of some sort. Probably someone most of us don't like, but may help him navigate DC, and gain a handful of independent votes.

My bet is that Trump not only reveals his VP pick at the convention but also his cabinet.

Christie - EPA
-some have Christie chief of staff (he is doing the transition team) and Gingrich VP.... I doubt it.
Ben Carson - HHS and input on replacing Obamacare
Guilani - AG
No meaningful talk about SecTreas which will be THE most important position in the next 4 years
No meaningful talk about SecDef
Do not listen to the prattle about Hillary smoking Trump in the general. Hillary is damaged goods, sinking fast, and may not even make it to November at the top of the ticket. Trump would beat her like a yard dog...., assuming he does not self destruct with some outlandish nonsense.

Sorry if I offended you, but decency, freedom and the rule of law has been giving way to compromise, unity and the Democrat Party for about 100 years. The Repubs are certainly not blameless, but the Democrats are the driving force of government control over our lives. The Repubs simply get an assist from time to time. As far as I am concerned I have no time for ignorant Dems or their supporting lacky's. Republican politicians and family included. Screw 'em. IMO we aren't nearly divided enough. Too many people are still rolling over for the Dems emotional arguments and anti-freedom agenda. I could care less about them or their opinions and feelings. And frankly if you sympathize with them I could care less for you either. I'll be kind and treat you with respect, I just don't care what you think.

Sessions might be a solid choice for him. Although Sessions is not a deal maker. But I could certainly see Sessions in a cabinet position somewhere. Maybe Homeland Security if he'd take it. Although I would love to see the next Republican Prez eliminate that entire Dept.

Because they both think they sre the smartest guy in the room and want all the power. I'd rather see Cruz as a Supreme Court justice for the next 40 years or so. That would be much better than 4-8 years of State dinners and meaningless meeting with foreign dignitaries.

Together they got 84% of the Republican vote. If they want a ticket that will hands down be a run off victory for the party they should cowboy up.

Should and will are two diferent things though. Lots of egos and deals going on behind the scenes. How great would it be if they did join up and win the election?mThen have Trump nominate Cruz for the Supreme Court about March of next year, and just replace him as VP? The lefties would be dying left and right from heart attacks. The entertainment value would be priceless.
