Ammo Cans

I've got about 4000 rounds of 45acp in my closet. My question is right now there in ammo cans but does it really make a difference? If I took them out and just stacked the boxes I would gain a ton more storage space in my closet. So do they really need to be in a box or can?

I just did the same thing. I think the ammo cans made a difference in just keeping everything in order and easy to move/count.

I'm doing just the opposite. Looking for ammo cans to put the boxed AK ammo in to keep the moisture out (long term).

I put my bulk ammo into zip lock baggies of 200 then into the ammo can they go. If it's boxed up I stack the box's in the ammo can...if it will be stored for a long period I double zip lock bag it then into the ammo can.

Ha she does have about 2k rounds for her favorite revolver. She would probably use everyone one of them if cans starting showing up in her closet.

But hey its totally ok that I have to put her books, and whatever else is run over in my "man closet"
