I realize the .17HMR is hugely supersonic and it won't be .22 quiet, but I was wondering if the .17HMR is as dirty and produces fouling/leading like .22LR rounds. The .17HMR rounds I have are copper plated but I imagine that won't make much difference.
And yes, the suppressor is rated for .17hmr, .22mag, etc. but is not serviceable, which is why I'm asking. I don't want to dirty it up with the .17 if I can't clean it.
