Been a long, wild ride so far. Nearly screwed it up early on, thought we might strangle each other a few times, got my head right and realized she was a keeper. Couldn't have made a better decision! Best $10 I ever borrowed. Lol. 18 years of mostly wedded bliss. Hey, it can't be all fun and games. Couldn't imagine it any other way. Still got a long way to go.

I walked into the living room about 1 pm and kissed her. Told her happy anniversary. She responds, "Oh yeah, that's right." Got one that realizes the other 364 are actually more important and that the race and finish are a bigger deal than the start. And she shoots too.

Happy Anniversary to you Sir. I just this month made 25 yrs with mine, and everyday I am amazed that she hasn't shot me in my sleep yet!

so this isn't about the skid rowQUOTE]
Haha. Knew somebody would catch that. Wife just got a good laugh out of it too. What can I say, it was a hit back then.

Thanks guys. Too much bad news sometimes. Thought some good news was in order.

Thanks. That's from back when I had time to work in pencil and paper instead of leather and thread. The drawing is from a pic just after we were married outside, at the top of the steps to the Jackson County courthouse.

The "wedding" involved calling her old roommate and boyfriend to be witnesses. Having to explain why the witnesses were in tuxedos and we were not very dressed up. Then having to borrow $10 from said witnesses to pay the JOP because they did not take checks. Yeah, we were prepared. Lol

I feel the same way about my wife!

We're coming up on 20 years next January, and I wouldn't have wanted to spend them with anybody else despite our rough spots.

Congratulations!
