1914 Finnish rework Mosin Nagant. Here is a link to a number of videos of the rifle: https://1drv.ms/u/s!Au11snxSmYXRrVNFtBt_qZs3IT0r?e=Mbg76e Many nice stampings. I will try to list the stampings. What I think is the original stamping has 6 lines so 1 is the Russian Imperial Eagle, 2 is the line that starts MKEB....(close as I can get not using cyrillic), 3 is OPYK...(again close as I can get not using cyrillic), 4 is the date 1914r, 5 the serial number, 6 is a arrow and triangle, 7 is upside down 7, 8 is a small x, 9 is a 7, 10 is a R, 11 is provisional black powder proof mark a n in a circle, 12 is SA in a box indicating Finland use or capture, 13 is a large D, 14 is a B in a circle, 15 is a K in a circle, 16 is a very small 3, 17 is a very small H, 18 is a second Imperial Eagle this one on the receiver the other on the barrel shank. 19 AZF stamp indicating Austria use or capture. There may be other stamps under the stock. Used in at least 3 countries and likely 2 or 3 major wars, WW1, winter war of 39, and WW2. The bolt is finn matched to the barrel which is always the case on a Finn rework of a Russian Mosin. 7.62x54r. The last digit of the serial number is stamped upside down on the receiver and correctly oriented/stamped on the bolt boss. This rifle has a MIS-strike on the receiver serial number...unique. Finn sling hangers. Bore is surplus very good shiny but dark and very strong high sharp rifling. Next time I go to the range I will shoot it and I think after 8 or 10 rounds it will turn bright shiny. This is not a sewer pipe mosin. Counterbored about 1 1/8 inch. Finnish pine tar /not shellac, 2 piece round tongue joint stock. I have not seen a M91 this nice in decades. The stock is very nice with only very minor dings, the arsenal blueing is good with some scattered freckling that is hard to see except in very bright light. I may steam the freckles and convert them to black oxide the next time I am working in the shop. At that time I will look under the stock for more stampings. The trigger feels smooth like Finnish M39 trigger, just a little heavier than a typical m39, but way lighter than most Russian mosins. The bolt is smooth and I can operate the bolt with 2 fingers. For Sale or Trade. $425
