So I have an ammo can full of 7.62x51 Nato Lake City ammo from the 60's (I think 66 is the head stamp). All properly stored in an ammo can in climate control storage for years and years. I'm thinking of parting with it and have not a clue what is fair to ask as a price per round.

You b lookin fo dah cash monies? The last I bought was .40 cents per round. Not sure what others are paying. Have seen it as cheap as .35 from individuals on old ammo.

I just bought some like that for 50 cents a round and would happily pay that again for more. A guy at the hickory show had it for 80 or 85 cents a round and sold some but not much. I like the old GI ball. I use it as a control to test current batches of Lake City overrun ammo against. I never find it in quantities to use as regular shooting ammo. At least at a price I am willing to pay.
