Need to pick a few brains, so reloaders please offer your thoughts.....
Recently picked up a R700 Sendero in 6mm. First time out, experimented with both the Sierra 85 BTHP & the Berger 87 VLD....both over various charges of N160. Spectacular results, particularly running 46 gr N160.
    Here's my issue,
The phenomenal accuracy of the Berger 87 VLD bullet was achieved seating 0.020" off the lands, at 2.975" OAL, (darn near one hole) which resulted in each round being fed individually as none would fit into the factory bdl magazine area.
Measuring the available magazine width has resultedhas shown the maximun OAL for this load at 2.810", 0.165" shorter than the test rounds fed individually......I'm going to try these out but with that much more bullet seated inside the cartridge neck would there be any negative issues??
