Lookin to purchase a 9mm in the next few weeks. I was looking at either the CZ P01 or the FNP 9. I have an FNP 45 and really like it so I figure a FNP 9 would be a good addition. The CZ is my choice for a CCW when I get my license. What are yalls opinions on both?

BTW, not a Glock fan and dont want an XD, i know i know o_O

I have a CZ P01 and I can't think of many bad things to say about it. It's currently my favorite gun to shoot. For me, though, any double stack is too big for carry without a big coat or something. I carry a smaller single-stack auto. Never shot an FNP 9, but I've handled one and the ergonomics felt similar to my CZ.

Since you want to CC this pistol, have you considered which one is smaller/lighter?

Chris

I have a FNP9 and FNP9M(dicontinued slightly compact version). Both are accurate & reliable. Have no CZs but two CZ clones and would love to try a CZPO1. Don't think either would be bad choice. Concealment for me requires jacket or vest. The CZ looks to be slightly smaller than FNP9 but FN's a little lighter.

+1
I have the FNP-9m and have been very happy with it. Great shooter, feel right in the hand, came with 3 mags- I think they may come with a holster and mag holder now. Always gose bang with any ammo I have put in it.
The only down side is not a lot of holster are made for it or many things like crimson trace grips.

Thanks for your help. I'm 6'1" 270lbs and wear big clothes (4xl shirts) so concealment wont be too much of a problem and I mostly want a CCL so i can "hide" the gun in my truck legally
