I bought this gun for my boy the day he was born, 4 inch S&W Model 28, like new. Stopped on the way to the hospital with my ex wife to trade a Ruger Redhawk for this gun. It got new Altamont shoes today. I only shoot this gun with him, it never comes out of the safe without him. This gun is his. 7 years old and shooting an N frame. Still has to use both pointer fingers to double action it, and my hands to support his, but hes in heaven. 20200404_171034.jpg

That's completely awesome. Are you letting him shoot magnum loads, or .38 Spl? Do you have the magna stocks for it? They may fit his hands better. I found them to be easier on my hands than I thought they would be when shooting magnum loads. I have a 6" M28-2.
