Although the other council members present didn't immediately claim any stand on the question, Council Member Vivian Burke did say that the fair "always appeared to be one-sided" and does not have enough diversity either in hiring or in the type of entertainment that is presented during the fair.

Well, I cannot believe ANYONE that has been to the Dixie Classic Fair does not think they don't have enough "diversity" . Maybe some of the African Americans on the site can advise me on what exactly is "your type" of entertainment vs. "caucasian" entertainment? That Vivian Burke is something else. Talk about someone with an agenda. Whew.

Vivian Burke is the biggest shit stirring racist I have ever met. When I worked for Food Lion we used to transfer all of our close dated lunch meats to the store on MLK Blvd because the customers there would buy it up at half price. She came out calling the company racists because we were only offering "rotted meat" to the blacks even though they had a choice of buying the regular dated items or the short dated items. After the company bowed down to her wishes she later contacted the company demanding that we "donate" all the close dated meats to one of her programs.
