In the mayor's defense, I feel pretty confident that he doesn't let his armed guards actually come into his house. I mean, they stand around outside, you know, guarding stuff. Let them inside and they'll start getting all uppity.

He's right. This mother, who shot an intruder while waiting for 20 minutes for police to arrive, should never have kept a gun in her home.

His philosophy doesn't hold rights in high regard. He would probably say you have a right to consume sugary drinks too. But that doesn't mean he won't use the power of the state to limit your right . . . for your own good, peon.

No surprise they got rid of her. Gail Neely was a blessing for NC gun rights because she was so incompetent. I listened to her speak in person and thought to myself "I hope she remains the head of NCGV forever!"

With Bloomberg's money powering NCGV, we are going to have a fight on our hands. At least Paul Valone will have a formidable opponent in debates - I was embarrassed for Neely as I watched him absolutely destroy her.
