I really want a stainless (not bright) 6" Colt Python - but I think we have all seen those prices...

I currently have a Larue Tactical Costa Edition - 1 of 500 (#80). They have been selling in the price range of SS pythons on GB depending on condition. Mine has seen about 2000 rounds, but great condition. They obviously aren't making any more of these, but am I crazy for considering trading this rifle for a python?

I could be completely wrong on this but I don't see an AR holding value like a python would.

Perfect - I'm getting rid of it - I have too many of them anyway. I just needed confirmation.

If the trade doesn't work I guess I'll just sell it and buy a Python

Even us po azz techs could tell you that the AR is nice...but its not a Colt much less a Colt wheelgun.

It is a BAD ASS rifle. Also, a BAD ASS revolver. The only give and take for me would be shooting the piss out of the AR and putting the python in a permanent display case. Damnit i wish i could shoot in my backyard thus minimizing my time on here!
