I am part of a similar group called Zombiesquad. They are an actual charity that does disaster aid as well. The zombie thing does a good job of keeping out the real crazies too. Stops all the discussions from turning into political bickering. It is a viable tactic that injects a bit of levity into the whole discussion.

Don't know much about these ZERT people, will have to check them out. Thanks for the link.
