Private or commercial, doesn`t matter, just wondering. I fly a Cessna 172 out of NC27 near Lenoir..... 3000ft of grass not far from Grandfather mtn.

I flew to Roxboro to meet MEAT57 and work a trade for his Ruger SBH a week or so ago. Had a good meal, made a new gun friend.

I am, Private with 1/2 of Commercial and Instrument done. I operate outa Concord and Statesville.

Is the Archer still at Statesville or did they sell it? I thought about flying out of there since I`m only 20mins away. I went to Lower Creek because the IFR cert 172 is only $85/hr wet.

I'm a few minutes south of you in the Bethlehem area. You can't beat this area in the spring and fall when the air is dry. I miss flying on those days that we get the real "Carolina Blue".

No license, but several hours stick in some of Uncle Sams toys.

HAHA.......nah, the peacock scarin dude flys out of Hickory, but lands in Bethlehem beside 127. I haven`t tried that field yet...1400' with a left hand dog-leg :O

What`s it got for brakes? Handbrakes like an old Piper?

RDUhuh....that`s gotta be a blast trying to land amongst the 125kt guys at 60kts! I went thru Greer`s airspace a week or so ago. It was funny hearing ATC giving vectors around me and seeing the jets go by. I was in the 172.
