Just wondering if anyone else is still prepping since Trump got elected? I am now fully committed to prepping.

Given the numerous reasons for prepping (health, environmental or economic disasters, political conflicts etc), any seeming relief on the political side may feel good, but doesn't change the motivation and value for being prepared that many see. If anything, now seems like a good time to finish prepping (as if that's even possible), given the lowered costs and plentiful supply.

I'm on the run. I have a place that has one way in via road and one way via the water.

Now that they can mount thermal cameras on drones, if you don't have a cave to hide in, you're pretty much going to be FUBAR. I don't think we'll have to worry about a political civil uprising. I do believe, though, the grid may go down. I read a report, I forget now from where, but it was a government report, that stated that if the grid stays down for more than 45 days, it's not coming back up. Also in that report, if it stays down for 90 days, 70% of the population will die. Chronic disease, loss of anti-rejection drugs, lack of insulin, predacious animals, violence, the inability to forage for food, accidents, stupidity and bad luck will do it. Me, I was in the Navy and a charter captain. I also learned how to use a compass and most importantly, I learned how to sail. I'm snatching a boat and heading for the Gulf Stream

Yes, however if an EMP is ever detonated over any part of the US we have a really big long term problem. Just read a book called One Second After. It will change the way you think about prepping forever. Foreign enemy boots never have to touch our soil.

Now's The time to be prepping. Prices are much lower and resources are available. No point waiting for a markup or ammo "Scare" to buy items.

Given the attitude of the Democrats, I’m prepping now more than ever. I don’t think this is going to end well.
