    Hi,
This is a rather convoluted request, but my brother has a customer that inherited an Arisaka rifle and wants to know details on its value. All he told my brother is that it was an Arisaka sniper rifle. Anyone on here willing to talk to this gentleman about his rifle? If so, I will have him email you for info.
    Thanks,
    Bob __

I'd love to see pictures of that to see if it is an authentic Japanese sniper rifle. But his best bet for the most accurate assessment of authenticity and/or value is to join the "Curio and Relics Central" group on Facebook and post detailed pictures of the rifle there. There are some extremely knowledgeable experts on that group. Actual authentic Type 99 sniper rifles are very rare. And there are fakes and reproductions out there that were done way back in the day. Authenticity and value can turn on very minute details.
