If sear surface is hand polished as they said I could not imagine how it could not be either the same or better than the ACTs. The ACTs I tried were no better or worse than some generic parts kit triggers. Of the kits I tried multiple of, the M&P Parts, Spikes Nib, and ALC ACTs were all nice, and the PSA and DPMS were all noticeably worse.

My two builds, I have used DD kits. I think the DD triggers are pretty tight compared to things like the PSA and DPMS. Ive been wanting to try one of the ALG triggers but Ill probably hold off if the pull isnt going to be any better.

Buy 10 different LPKs and you'll have 8 different feeling triggers. Some smooth and consistent, some gritty and not smooth.

The ACT and other "upgraded" mil spec triggers are simply made so that you can have that "1 out of 10" smooth mil spec trigger feel in every build. I can't see the BCM being much different in that regard. I would expect very consistent results from trigger to trigger, knowing how BCM is with QA/QC.

If I didn't already have SSAs and SSA-Es in my ARs, I wouldn't hesitate to try one out.

Anybody got their hands on one yet? Wondering how it compares to a ALG ACT.
Seem to be at the same price point, thinking about being the guinea pig and trying one out.
If the quality of BCMs other products is any indicator, this trigger will be top-shelf.

The very few reviews that are out there say 5.5lbs to 6lbs, nice clean break, a touch lighter and more crisp than the ACT. Maybe just a hair more take up than the ACT has. One reviewer said he could tell no difference in the PNT and the ACT at all.

Dang it. I had decided just to go with a CMMG I already have, and add JP springs.

"Had" implies you no longer have it. Did you get rid of it, change it out, lose it? Sounds like you thought highly of it, just curious why you don't have it anymore?
It simply didn't make a $55 difference for me. My factory BCM GI trigger has over 2500 through it, and a lot more dry fires. It's worn in, and it's actually a very good trigger. A little lighter than, and just as smooth as, the PNT, with only marginally more take up and a hair musher break.

If I were starting anew, I'll take a PNT from the get go. But with a well broken-in GI trigger, the PNT offered little. So, I sold it and am going to stick with what I've got until I'm enthusiastic enough to buy a Geissele.

I should've clarified more.
