If I had to guess I'd say he broke the lower trying to put the parts kit in and then got mad a really broke it.

Joined in 2001 and has about 1,400 posted messages but it appears that he is now trying to make and sell his own lowers and posted this for some publicity. Trashing someone like he did (well actually not it backfired) makes him a TROLL.

To think that would work against a company like spikes I think he had to be under the influence of SOMETHING to make such a stupid F up.

 

He posted pics of that lower on another forum. It was WAY out of spec. Enough that I really checked my lowers that I hadn't built yet. At the time he didn't say it was a Spikes but all the problems listed are the same as those.

 

I have never heard of a spikes lower having any trouble, actually everyone raves about them enough that I was thinking of adding one to my collection just for some "color" the pictograms are kind of neat.

I am guessing your's are OK ? This one guy is not going to change my mind but if other people are having trouble then I'll have to think. A couple of more weeks and I can probably get the wife to agree for another one, after that NRA membership recovery.
