What's weird is that hte 92FS is the easiest gun on the planet to take apart.

So, I rotate the lock and then remove the 9mm slide assembly.. then I slide on the 22 slide assembly but I can only rotate the locking cam about half way before it stops dead.. Slide fits great, can't rotate the lock counterclockwise enough.

    Ideas?

try pulling the slide 1/2 inch further back then rotate the lever

Did that, still no joy.. it's frustrating since the 9mm slide goes on and locks so easily.. with the factory 22 slide the flat-sided cam just stops solid half way through rotation.. :(

My Kadet .22lr conversion for my CZ75 SP01 was a pain to fit. It would go on, but it was tight as heck. I ended up taking it to a Gun Smith. He found the spot that was out of spec and made the correction. It was worth an hour labor and it now goes on smooth as silk.
