I honestly didn't know there was any other way to eat one until my wife called me weird for doing it. I was vindicated by Family Guy.

Anyone else butter their Pop Tarts?

I really love that this song is Seth MacFarland harmonizing with himself.

I've never heard of anyone doing that, but perhaps I've lived a sheltered life. Butter is almost like bacon. Anything with is better than without.
Hand to God, never heard of putting butter on a pop tart until I read this. Fascinating.
I'm with these guys. And I've eaten my fair share of pop tarts I've the last 40 years. A majority of them for breakfast on some kind of church trip. :D

Oh Hell! I never thought it would happen! I like something Chad does! I think the world is spinning off it's axis!

My mom used to give them to us before school years ago..and they were liberally covered with butter. It definitely helps the uber dry pastry parts.

I may have to amend my earlier answer.

As I recall, the "correct" way was go with an unfrosted Pop Tart, which I haven't seen in ages. The cinnamon ones were best; brown them in the toaster, then butter the Top Part O' the Pop Tart.

Then go do something kinky with the wife and the butter.

Hold on there Junior. This ain't Yankee shit. I have been eating Poptarts at 5 am on fishing trips formover 20 years and have never even thought of putting butter on them. And I gree up in NY. WTF is wrong with people? I'll bet these folks spoon with Democrats and sheep too!

I do love about a full stick of butter on my toast and popcorn, and have the scars to prove it, but butter on a poptart is simply wrong. Unless you have a serious drung habit. Then rock on.

This thread turns me on as much as the contortionist video.
