I usually don't get worked up when people abuse words. For example, I don't mind in the least bit when people say "sale" instead of "sell." I cringe a little bit when people say "clip" when they're talking about a magazine, or when they say "bullet" when they mean "cartridge," and stuff like that. But I don't get up in arms about it. They're, there, their...its and it's...do your worst. I don't care.

But for no good reason that I can think of, it just ticks me off to no end when people are selling a used gun and calling it new. Once it leaves the store, it's used! It's not BNIB. It's not NIB. It's used. A used gun might be LNIB. Like new, OK. But in order to be brand new in box, the gun has to actually be new. And if you bought the gun and left the store with it, it's not new.

I guess that's enough stupid ranting for right now.
