I want a full size 9mm to carry around house and farm maybe also a truck gun
I know the G17c and cz are harder to find if i miss out on one of these
What would you fellers do?

CZ SP-01 all the way! I have the Shadow version and used to have a stock SP-01. The stock SP-01's have night sights standard (+$80-$100 on Glocks if not factory night sights), fit the hand for almost all folks perfectly, they are all steel and extremely durable. I have moved from GLOCK to CZs and have not regretted it.

Countdown: 10, 9, 8...

I'm sure you are about to get a well-intentioned post about pick what fits you best, what you shoot best, then run a ton of ammo through it. You asked for an opinion so I wanted to offer mine up FWIW. Those points are all a given :)

I would imagine the resell value on the CZ will also be a bit higher, should you ever decide to get rid of it.

I have a Gen 2' gen3 and gen4 glock 19's and a g33
I love the cz75 sp-01 tactical feel as it fits my hand so nice but i also want a g17 as i would like a full size also. But can only buy one now and maybe layaway the g17. A tough choice for me right now

Based on that, the 17 or 17c is the way to go. You already have holsters and gear for it I bet. Maybe even some mags...

You can save your money on the compensated model-I shot a compensated G19 once and all it added was muzzle flash in dim light. No noticeable effect on recoil.

The 17C is nice in concept, but really provides no gain to offset the muzzle flash and the carbon buildup on your front sight. When it comes down to the G17 and the SP-01 Tactical it will depend on what you are looking to do with it. I have owned both, and still own the G17. I just couldn't adapt to the DA/SA trigger on the SP-01 Tactical. It can be greatly improved with aftermarket parts, but I just never saw the need for DA/SA. The CZ platform is very comfortable to shoot due to the ergonomics and the weight, but if you wanted this for carry, the weight would be a factor also. I personally didn't like the G17 when I tried it, but after adapting to the platform I couldn't go back. Upgrades for Glock are plentiful so you can make it exactly what you want at a lower cost then CZ parts are. If you really want to go the CZ route I would suggest also considering the standard safety SP-01 with no decocker. They are easier to work on and still offer DA/SA if you manually decock it along with SA only using the safety for a consistent trigger pull. Any CZ I get my hands on now gets converted straight to single action only.

Since size isn't an issue and you are going big anyway, the G34 would maximize your gains over the G19s you already have in barrel length/sight radius. Plus you would have something that is a little more suited for competition should you choose to go that route.

The general rule is that compensated 9mm's are more trouble than they are worth for the reasons already mentioned. As cool as it seems, I would probably not consider the G17C.

Yeah if you already have a Glock get the CZ. Variety is the spice of life.
That said, if you could only have one gun, maybe the Glock is a better choice.

Just my opinion. I have a CZ and love it. It's a range gun and for that I haven't shot a Glock that could match it.

If you don't like the CZ, the Sp-01 seem to sell quickly.

If you want a "full size" pistol, your best "all metal" choice would be a P226. If it's good enough for the Navy SEALs, it's definitely good enough for any civilian. It's definitely the most expensive option. Surprise, surprise, I think your best "full size" polymer choice would be (drum roll please), a PPQ with a 5" barrel. Those are a little pricy, probably retailing ~$650. They will probably drop a little, but doubt you'll see them under $600 anytime soon. (4" PPQs retail in the mid $500 range.)

If you want a high quality, but very budget friendly full size for use around the house or just as a "truck gun," take a hard look at the Walther PPX. It's very accurate and extremely reliable. It's just sort of a brick, but if you're into Blocks (Glocks), you'll feel right at home. You should be able to find a new one around $400 in your LGS.

If you can live with 15rd capacity in a full-ish size gun, the new HK VP9 is about the best deal going for a new 9mm pistol my humble opinion. If that doesn't float your boat, you can never go wrong with another glock. Out of the options you listed, gen 4 g17 all the way.
