As everyone else has stated, try and keep them seperate if possible. If not a good cleaning and you will be fine.

I use a turkey fryer and them a dutch oven/cast iron pot to smelt my lead. Ill try and dig up some pictures of my setup.

Good luck on smelting/casting. Ita quite addicting and very cool that you will now be shooting for the coat of just primers and powder....say 4.5 cents/ rnd 9mm luger cool
