Hi guys I am new to the club. I have a problem with my semi auto Charles Daly. It is not auto reloading after shooting and I was wondering if this was a popular problem.

Can we get some specifics? What ammo are you using? For instance, a lot of the lighter "Walmart Party Pack" Winchester birdshot loads will not cycle certain semi auto shotguns. Often, with some semis, it's simply an adjustment of the gas rings.

I am using Remington bird shot. I have always used the same shells and this had never been a problem. But keep in mind I know that Charles Daly is a junk gun

Yeah, I could be just that.....a relatively inexpensive gun that just is ammo picky. I've seen it with a Browning A5, though....would not feed/cycle with birdshot. Had to adjust a few minor things and then she took anything you could give her.

There are worse guns than a Charles Daly, though. :)

I googled the issue and it seems to be related to gas ports/o-rings.....seems to be a common problem.
