I heard on the scanner last night here in Gastonia some clowns near apts running thru the woods reported . Several times .

I say its just idiot teenagers seeing it on the news and wanting to screw with people

 

There were a couple reports of similar incidents with clowns in upstate SC last week. Sooner or later one is gonna end up with a sad face!

Also, I hate clowns...dang Poltergeist movie!

 

 

I'm thinking a paint ball gun would be good clown repellent.

It could be teens but let them come around my house trying to lure my kid or the neighbor's kids with candy and I will beat the funny out of them, I have no clown phobia. We have talked with our son about it and told him to scream for me if he sees one.

Although it is definitely not normal, I was curious what the crime was when the officer said it was illegal. I kept reading and this:

I have heard a few apoplectic saying "Oh, it's no big deal. Just kids being kids." And while that may be 100% true, it loses its "innocence" as soon as it has to do with luring kids around or baiting them in any way.

I would agree, but three different reports from three different locations in two different counties?

I'm not saying there is an uprising of Clowns coming. But as it stands, the evidence based on eye witnesses, both juvenile and adult, is that there is someone or multiple people hanging out at playgrounds dressed as clowns and they aren't making animal balloons for a quarter.

Is it criminal? Perhaps and perhaps not.

Put it this way, I'm not saying it's something, but I am not so freaking quick to say "Oh, it's nothing".

This could all be cured very simply, and without all the BS going on...round up a few and beat them thoroughly. The rest will get the hint pretty d*mn quickly. No muss, no fuss.

 

Someone chased one with a machete today. GSO PD was called about it. So people aren't too happy about it. LMAO. Getting chased through the woods by a dude with a machete while wearing a clown suit. He probably was thinking not the best attire to run for his life in.

 

Especially if he's of the saggy-pants persuasion.
