These guys are always recommended to me but I've never talked to anyone that has actually used their services. I've made multiple calls, left a couple messages, and sent a couple emails. They never respond - anyone know what's going on? Is this normal? Are they that busy?

I want to get a quote on an AK project before I purchase the gun/parts.

They threaded a couple barrels for me... Turnaround was just a few weeks I believe (which sounds like a lot but is much faster than most other places quoted) Price was great and they did good work. As far as contacting them I actually arranged it all through jkupp so I never dealt directly with them.

They are great to work with but are very busy. I need to get them some barrels in the next week or so and id be glad to talk to them for you. On me some deets and I'll see what I can do. They make some great aks. James was making some 9mm ak stuff and some ak sbrs.

I'm mainly just looking to get the rear trunnion of a Draco replaced with a fixed stock trunnion, and have a barrel extension pinned/welded so it's ready for an SBR in the future. To be honest, I'd really only be interested if I could do it same-day. They're a pretty far drive from me, and the project is pretty small; I just don't have the tools for it.

I don't want to drop it off and be waiting forever to get the stuff back. I know how these things go sometimes.
