Wondering if anyone here can provide some insight on this silver "penny". It was originally a gift from my ex in laws and I want to get rid of it but can't figure out a value. All I've found online are listing for auctions and one forum where a guy bought one (never said how much) and had a bunch of people wanting one.

I would say it is what spot price is. It is like the 1 Troy oz. bars, just in a different shape. You might could get a few more dollars because it is not the normal 1oz bar.

It is not a US issued coin like the walking liberty dollars. If it were a US coin it would have a demonation on it.
