"The five shot rifle, that's a standard military rifle, the problem is if you attach a clip to it so it can fire more shells and if you remove the pin so that it becomes an automatic weapon, and those are independent criminal offenses. That's when they become, essentially, a weapon of mass destruction. The problem with handguns probably is even worse than the problem of the AR15."

~ William Weld
2016 Libertarian VP Candidate

Me because I've noticed moderates seeping into it. Talk all this appeasement crap and that we need to stop supporting Israel and stuff. After this election I'm changing my registration to independent anyway..,

I bet he likes roads too. So much for being able to trust "my politicians" but not yours.

Dear Libertarians, welcome aboard the "WTH is my party doing" train. Conservative to the right, classic liberals to the left, you guys can take the middle.

Dang Democratics took control of the Republican Party and the Moderate so called conservative liberal Republicans took control of the Libertarian party.

McAfee would not have selected anyone anyone this far out there. And he is nuttier than squirrel sh!t. (Though I still like him)

Exactly, and the libertarian Petersen would have picked a staunch Constitutionalist for a Running mate, possibly Andrew Napolitano

"...As a result of his courageous advocacy as a crusading lawyer, Andy is credited with ending the time travel and Mars cover-ups by the US government on behalf of the American people."

What time travel and Mars cover ups we talking about here? Inquiring minds want to know. Or I do, anyway.

if you remove the pin so that it becomes an automatic weapon,
I tried removing pins from my AR and it either fell apart or random other things fell off. Can someone show me which one is the automatic pin? Google isn't turning up anything, and there is no way a politician doesn't know what he's talking about.

You will have to take that up with the prospective Libertarian candidate, obviously he much smarter than most of us here.;) When you figure out which pin it is, be careful because he said you might get in trouble doing that. Wonder if that also applies if you attach a clip to it so it can fire more shells? :)

We should sponsor a "AR-15 Challenge" Get someone to donate a huge Snap On box ( @Butter ) full of thousands of dollars worth of tools for the competition (they get it back) , and lay out several AR's and have the soccer moms and politicians try to convert an AR to full auto. CSC @soreshoulder can sponsor the $10,000 prize to the winner.

:)

"You have a tool box that you build an entire race car with, with about $40,000 worth of tools, and you cant convert that semi auto ghost killer black gun to full auto?"

He is a political Libertarian, not an ideological one.

Can anybody tell me which pin to remove? Asking for a friend.

Explain to me again how this third party is better than the other two? Looks to me like if you put all three in a jug and shake it, you won't be able to tell which one will fall out first.

They're both just Dem-lite to me. Which is absurd because they're supposedly "former" Republicans.

Weld's comments and Johnson's "black hole of religious freedom" cost them my vote.
