So correct me if I am wrong, but if I were to build an AR pistol, throw on a Sig brace, legally there would be no issue with keeping it concealed in my car in addition to the gun I have on my person, as long as I have a CC permit yes?

Yes, next question was about SC. Wife has a permit as well, so that aspect wouldn't be an issue, unless they decided to consider the kids a threat.
